Google has announced that it will launch a native version of the Chrome browser for Linux devices with Arm64 architecture in the second quarter of 2026 (between April and June). Previously, ARM64 Linux users had to run Chromium through workarounds or use emulators to run the x86_64 version of Chrome, which was inefficient and resource-intensive. The native version will provide core features such as full Google account synchronization, DRM components, and Chrome Web Store payment support, ensuring a seamless experience consistent with other platforms. Google has also collaborated with NVIDIA to ensure that Chrome can be easily installed on DGX Spark systems. Other users can download the corresponding version from the Chrome official website.
