On November 5, news emerged that an investor posed a question to ST Yifei. Back on September 3, South Korea's LG Energy Solution made an announcement, revealing that it had secured two battery orders from Germany's Mercedes-Benz. The scale of these orders was substantial, reaching a whopping 107GWh. The company is set to supply next-generation 46-series cylindrical batteries under these contracts, which are valued at roughly US$10.8 billion. Given this development, the investor inquired whether LG Energy Solution had any business interactions with ST Yifei's company. Moreover, they were curious about the order status of ST Yifei's company for large cylindrical batteries, particularly the equipment for 46-series batteries.
Responding on the interactive platform, ST Yifei stated that at present, the company boasts a sufficient number of orders for cylindrical cell equipment. What's more, the orders for 46-series cylindrical cell equipment are witnessing a rapid surge.
