On November 5, news from the Silicon Industry Branch indicated that the domestic polysilicon market remained generally weak and stable this week, with a slight increase in transaction activity. The number of mainstream enterprises signing contracts increased to six, and the volume of orders placed saw a small month-on-month growth. According to statistics, there are currently 11 domestic polysilicon enterprises in production. It is expected that two leading enterprises will reduce production and undergo maintenance this month, which will significantly impact the total domestic polysilicon supply, with the total production volume projected to decline by 12.4% month-on-month. Despite the contraction in supply, the polysilicon market remains oversupplied compared to downstream demand. Currently, high industry inventory levels and weak terminal demand are limiting the potential for price increases. It is expected that in the short term, influenced by both the implementation of production cuts and policy expectations, the market will continue to maintain a weak and stable operation trend.
