The Apple Vision Pro headset has been widely applied in the medical sector, notably facilitating the world's first hip arthroscopy surgery through Stryker's SportSuite Vision application. This application secured FDA De Novo clearance on July 17, marking it as the first software authorized for surgical use with Vision Pro. Prior to this, Vision Pro had already been integrated into spinal procedures, shoulder arthroscopies, paraesophageal hernia repairs, anti-reflux and weight-loss minimally invasive operations, as well as cataract surgeries. Across these diverse surgical scenarios, Vision Pro plays a pivotal role in displaying real-time imagery and accessing procedural data, thereby minimizing doctors' physical strain and optimizing the arrangement of clinical information in line with surgical workflows.
