Recently, an Indian netizen with the username Southern_Chest_9084 took to the internet to lodge a complaint. They recounted that on the afternoon of September 24, 2025, their Apple Watch suddenly overheated, causing a burn on their wrist. The burn left a distinct watch-shaped imprint, accompanied by blisters and excruciating pain. In the six-month-long quest for justice, however, the user faced a series of unhelpful and elusive responses from Apple's official team. The customer service representatives initially tried to pin the blame on skin allergies. Moreover, the user encountered significant hurdles when attempting to send the device in for testing. To add to the frustration, the information provided by different staff members was inconsistent. As of March 14, 2026, the user expressed that they had reached their breaking point and were now contemplating taking legal action to resolve this issue.
