On Wednesday, the U.S. banking giant JPMorgan Chase announced a strategic partnership with the cryptocurrency platform Coinbase. Starting in the fall of 2025, customers will be able to fund their Coinbase wallets and purchase cryptocurrencies using Chase credit cards. Additionally, the two companies aim to establish direct links between bank accounts and crypto wallets by 2026, as well as facilitate the transfer of Chase points into Coinbase accounts. These initiatives are aimed at bolstering customer transaction security, enhancing privacy protection, and expanding access and choice for users. This collaboration marks a significant step towards mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency, indicating that major banks are now actively embracing this growing sector, which has gained widespread appeal among consumers and investors.
