Recently, SHEIN (formerly known as Xi Yin) marked the official completion and commissioning of its Western Greater Bay Area Smart Industrial Park in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province. This cutting-edge facility represents a significant investment of 3.5 billion yuan and spans an impressive gross floor area of over 600,000 square meters. Designed as a state-of-the-art smart supply chain hub, the park seamlessly integrates functions such as intelligent sorting and order distribution. It is also outfitted with essential amenities, including staff canteens and comprehensive office complexes.
The park's layout includes 14 double-story logistics warehouses, all interconnected by logistics building corridors. This design ensures seamless compatibility with SHEIN's deployment of automated equipment and operational processes. Moving forward, SHEIN will focus on the installation of solar photovoltaic panels and the introduction of cutting-edge equipment. The entire rooftop of the park will be covered with photovoltaic panels, boasting a planned installed capacity exceeding 24 megawatts. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce carbon emissions by over 10,000 tons annually.
Once the park reaches its full production capacity, it is projected to generate an impressive annual export volume of 3.5 billion yuan in service trade. Additionally, the project is anticipated to create between 20,000 and 30,000 new job opportunities, further bolstering the local economy.
