AMD is steadily expanding its range of X3D processors, with the budget-friendly Ryzen 5 7500X3D recently making an appearance in the Geekbench database. This marks AMD's foray into the entry-level market, offering cost-effective performance tailored for gaming enthusiasts. Earlier, this processor had been listed for pre-order on a UK retailer’s website, where its OPN code was also disclosed. According to Geekbench test results, the Ryzen 5 7500X3D is built on a 6-core/12-thread architecture, boasting 96MB of L3 cache. It operates with a base clock speed of 4.0GHz and can boost up to 4.5GHz, all while maintaining an estimated thermal design power (TDP) of just 65W. In the Geekbench single-core and multi-core tests, it achieved scores of 2399 and 11323, respectively, placing it roughly 8% behind the 7600X3D. However, given its substantial cache size, its real-world gaming performance is anticipated to be on par with that of the 7600X3D, positioning it as a strong candidate for the title of one of the most powerful budget gaming processors available.
