On November 4, AMD unveiled its financial performance for the third quarter of 2025, revealing a remarkable revenue surge to $9.246 billion. This marks a substantial 36% year-on-year increase, comfortably outstripping the market's anticipated figure of $8.74 billion. The company's net profit soared to $1.243 billion, reflecting a robust 61% year-on-year growth. When considering non-GAAP diluted earnings per share, AMD achieved $1.20, surpassing the market's projected $1.16.

Delving into the specifics of its business segments, AMD's data center division reported a revenue of $4.3 billion, up by a healthy 22% from the previous year. The client business segment witnessed an impressive 46% year-on-year revenue hike, reaching $2.8 billion. The gaming sector also experienced a significant boost, with revenue climbing to $1.3 billion, marking a staggering 181% increase year-on-year. However, the embedded business segment reported a slight decline, with revenue dropping by 8% year-on-year to $857 million.

Looking ahead, AMD has set its sights on achieving a fourth-quarter revenue target of $9.6 billion, with a permissible fluctuation range of $300 million. Additionally, the company anticipates a rise in its gross margin to 54.5%.
