AMD's Strix Halo processor lineup has just expanded with the introduction of the 'Ryzen AI Max+ 388'. This new CPU has been spotted in the PassMark database. Sporting an 8-core, 16-thread architecture, it marks a significant milestone by being the first non-flagship model to incorporate the Radeon 8060S integrated graphics. In performance evaluations, it has achieved a single-core score of 4145 points and a multi-core score of 31702 points. Its single-core performance stands on equal footing with its counterparts in the same series, while its multi-core score lags slightly behind that of the Ryzen AI Max 385. This processor is poised to offer top-tier graphics capabilities to the gaming laptop and mini PC sectors at a more accessible price.
