Microsoft President Satya Nadella announced the early activation of Fairwater, the world's most powerful AI data center, in Wisconsin, USA. With a total investment of $3.3 billion (approximately RMB 22.531 billion), the data center is equipped with hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB200 superchips, delivering performance ten times that of the world's fastest supercomputer. Covering an area of approximately 127.6 hectares, it has implemented various measures to ensure stable and efficient operation. The activation of the Fairwater data center marks a significant advancement for Microsoft in the field of AI technology. Additionally, Microsoft plans to build more similar data centers in other regions of the United States to further drive the development of AI technology.
