Volvo Cars, majority-owned by China's Geely Holding, revealed on Monday that its sales in April fell by 11% year-on-year, reaching 58,881 units. This performance has led to a decline in the company's share prices. According to the company's statement, sales of pure electric vehicles experienced a significant drop of 32%, contributing to 20% of total sales. Additionally, overall sales of electrified vehicles fell by 16%, accounting for 45% of the total sales volume.
