In April, the five major automakers in South Korea collectively sold 688,778 vehicles worldwide, marking a 2.4% increase year-on-year. Among them, Hyundai Motor's sales surged by 2%, and Kia's sales grew by 5%. Conversely, GM Korea experienced a 6.3% decline, Renault Korea saw a 1.4% drop, and KGM faced an 8.4% decrease in sales.
