During the Xpeng AI Sharing Exchange on April 14, Li Liyun, the head of autonomous driving at Xpeng Motors, highlighted the pivotal role of large AI models in propelling autonomous driving technology towards practical application. Addressing the prospect of Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system entering the Chinese market, Li Liyun noted that both China and the United States boast advanced anthropomorphic intelligent driving technologies. However, he stressed that Xpeng has a deeper understanding of Chinese road conditions and consequently excels in the local market. Simultaneously, he expressed admiration for Tesla's fundamental strengths in this domain.
Li Liyun emphasized that both Xpeng's intelligent driving capabilities and FSD systems are in a state of continuous improvement, signifying that autonomous driving is gradually becoming a tangible reality.
