On September 1, reports surfaced indicating that several stores in Shanghai have disclosed OPPO's intention to implement price increases on multiple smartphone models this month. The affected models include the OPPO Reno16 series and the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro series, with the price hikes expected to range from RMB 300 to RMB 500. In some stores, the price tags for the OPPO Reno16 have already been updated, and the model name has been changed to OPPO Reno16t. Sales staff at these stores mentioned that they had received prior notification from the company regarding the upcoming price adjustments. The price tags have been revised accordingly, and they are now awaiting an official announcement from OPPO. The preliminary confirmed date for these price increases is September 7.
