According to CCTV Business Channel, the standard development tasks outlined in the "Action Plan for Promoting Equipment Upgrades and Consumption Goods Trade-ins through Standard Enhancement," jointly issued by seven departments including the State Administration for Market Regulation, have been successfully accomplished. A total of 294 national standards, covering 13 key areas, have been developed and revised, and subsequently approved and released. These standards are geared towards accelerating the upgrade of energy consumption and emission technology standards, bolstering product quality and safety standards, and expanding the availability of recycling standards. For instance, the updated energy consumption limit standard for coal-fired power generation units is anticipated to drive a reduction in the average coal consumption for power supply by 2030, thereby cutting down on carbon dioxide emissions. Moreover, the safety standards for electric vehicle power batteries have, for the first time, incorporated "no fire, no explosion" as mandatory requirements, substantially elevating the safety standards of new energy vehicles.
