Beijing has rolled out a comprehensive set of fertility support policies aimed at boosting the city's birth rate. Key initiatives include the establishment of a fertility subsidy system and the implementation of a special additional deduction for personal income tax on the care of infants under 3 years old and children's education. Furthermore, the city has raised the reimbursement standard for prenatal examination expenses under maternity insurance and enabled real-time settlement of medical insurance claims, thereby broadening the scope of maternity insurance coverage. Additionally, Beijing is actively studying and improving measures to enhance maternity medical expense guarantees for flexible employment personnel and the unemployed.
