The completion and dispatch ceremony for the initial batch of TF coil cases—key components for the world’s first compact fusion energy experimental device, BEST—took place at the Sinomach Heavy Equipment Deyang Base. Sinomach Heavy Equipment has successfully manufactured, assembled, and shipped all eight TF coil cases in this batch. As core elements of the superconducting magnet system, these cases impose stringent demands on material quality and precision engineering. Their integration into the BEST device will significantly bolster China’s pursuit of controlled nuclear fusion, a cornerstone of its national energy strategy.
