The primary objective of setting up the Token Office is to optimize and centralize the entire lifecycle of token management—from creation and distribution to application—thereby resolving the challenge of fragmented operations that previously existed across various secondary departments. The following afternoon, on June 29, China Mobile reiterated the establishment of the Token Office. However, the company refrained from confirming online speculations suggesting that "the Token Office enjoys a superior status and operates under the direct supervision of core leadership group members."
