Industry insiders reveal that, following the launch of its Digital Intelligence Business Division and Computing Power Office, China Mobile has recently established a Token Office. This new office outranks the Computing Power Office in terms of organizational hierarchy and operates directly under the guidance of the group's top leadership. The Executive Deputy Director of the office is the General Manager of the Strategic Development Department. Observers note that China Mobile's initiative mirrors Alibaba's earlier formation of the Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) Business Group. The goal is to streamline the entire lifecycle of Token management—from creation and distribution to application—while tackling the challenge of fragmented operations across various secondary departments. These include the Computing Power Office, Mobile Cloud Company, Digital Intelligence Business Division, Marketing Department, and Government and Enterprise Business Division.
