On Thursday (local time), Microsoft made an announcement stating that, effective July 2026, it will raise the monthly subscription fees for Microsoft 365 among its global commercial and government clientele. This price revision will impact plans tailored for enterprises, the public sector, and frontline workers, with particularly significant hikes for packages designed for small businesses and frontline staff. Specifically, the cost of the E3 package will see an approximate 8.3% surge, climbing to $39 per user per month. The E5 package will experience a roughly 5.3% increase, bringing the price to $60 per user per month. Meanwhile, the F1 and F3 packages will undergo hikes of 33% and 25%, respectively, with prices rising to $3 and $10 per user per month. Microsoft explained that this price adjustment is intended to account for the over 1,100 new features that have been integrated into the platform in recent years.
