Every second, trillions of extracellular vesicles (dubbed "molecular messengers") course through human blood, playing a pivotal role in relaying vital information between cells. A research team from the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute in Australia has, for the first time, successfully mapped out the entire molecular makeup of extracellular vesicles, unveiling their contents with an unprecedented level of detail. The pertinent research findings have been published in the journal Nature Cell Biology.
