In a close examination of the Q3 financial reports for U.S. stocks in the fiscal year 2025, AMD has unveiled its financial performance for the third quarter. According to the report, AMD's revenue for the third quarter hit $9.246 billion, marking a 36% year-on-year increase and a 20% rise from the previous quarter. The net profit stood at $1.243 billion, reflecting a 61% year-on-year jump and a 43% increase compared to the last quarter. Adjusted net profit reached $1.965 billion, up 31% year-on-year and a remarkable 152% increase from the previous quarter. Both revenue and adjusted diluted earnings per share surpassed market expectations. Across its various business segments, AMD witnessed a general uptick in revenue and operating profit, with robust performance in metrics like gross profit and gross margin, despite some fluctuations in total sales costs. As for the fiscal year 2025's fourth quarter, AMD anticipates revenue of around $9.6 billion, with an adjusted gross margin projected to hit 54.5%, meeting or surpassing analyst expectations.
