During the CES 2025 exhibition earlier this year, NVIDIA unveiled the "Project DIGITS" mini PC, hailed as the world's smallest AI supercomputer. This device shares similarities with the AMD Strix Halo mini AI workstation but stands apart due to its processor architecture. While AMD leverages the established x86 architecture, NVIDIA opted for an Arm-based GB10 chip, integrating the Blackwell GPU and Grace CPU. Both the DGX Spark, the official moniker for Project DIGITS, and its OEM partner versions, initially scheduled for a July release, have yet to materialize as anticipated. Currently, global reservations are limited to special channels only. Boasting robust AI computing capabilities, the DGX Spark is poised to cater to AI researchers, data scientists, and deep learning enthusiasts.
