On April 21st, China's first domestically developed, 6-meter-diameter disc-shaped one-sided anchor intelligent automatic observation buoy was successfully deployed and officially commenced operations in the waters off Rongcheng, Shandong Province. Its primary mission is to conduct comprehensive full-water column profile observations of China's offshore environment. Leveraging cutting-edge domestic technology, this buoy marks a significant breakthrough by enabling continuous, stable, and real-time profile monitoring of marine water bodies—a feat that overcomes the limitations of traditional observation methods. Furthermore, by incorporating artificial intelligence technology, it not only drives the transformation of marine observation models but also significantly boosts the intelligence, precision, and efficiency of marine environmental monitoring.
