According to an internal memo obtained by Reuters, Meta is installing new tracking software on its U.S. employees' computers to collect data on mouse movements, clicks, and keyboard inputs. This data will be used to train its artificial intelligence models as part of a broader plan to develop AI agents capable of autonomously performing office tasks. A Meta spokesperson stated that the collected data will only be used for model training and will not be utilized for other purposes such as performance evaluations, and that security measures have been implemented to protect sensitive content.
