On April 21, the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal Government unveiled the Implementation Plan for the National Digital Economy Innovation and Development Pilot Zone (Shanghai). This plan outlines a strategic vision to delve into pioneering technologies and expedite the pilot deployment and commercialization of innovations such as brain-computer interfaces, sixth-generation mobile communications (6G), and quantum computing. Additionally, it emphasizes the establishment of a service platform dedicated to the research and development of foundational, generic technologies. Simultaneously, the plan calls for an in-depth study of the mechanisms governing the Web3.0 innovation test field, the exploration of constructing a trustworthy technological infrastructure rooted in smart contracts, and the systematic execution of technical validations.
