As reported by TechCrunch, World Labs, a startup founded by Fei-Fei Li, has successfully closed a fresh funding round. Autodesk took the lead in this $200 million investment, with additional participation from AMD, Emerson Collective, Fidelity, and Nvidia. Prior to this funding round, the company was in the midst of negotiations, aiming for a valuation of around $5 billion. World Labs is committed to developing AI tools capable of comprehending the three-dimensional world. It has already rolled out its inaugural product, Marble, which can create 3D environments based on images or text. This infusion of capital will fuel its foray into robotics and scientific applications.
