Earlier this month, OpenAI launched the OpenAI Frontier platform, designed to help businesses build and manage agents. However, COO Brad Lightcap pointed out that despite the significant attention on AI, it has not yet been adopted on a large scale by businesses, and enterprise-level AI has not truly been integrated into business processes. While there has been talk that AI agents will take over business processes, this has not yet become a reality, and OpenAI was still a heavy user of Slack last year. In January this year, OpenAI's CFO revealed that the company's revenue continues to grow, with projected annualized revenue exceeding $20 billion by 2025, and Lightcap also stated that market demand is strong. OpenAI evaluates the effectiveness of the Frontier platform based on 'business outcomes' and collaborates with multiple consulting firms to drive the implementation of AI technologies in enterprise settings. Additionally, OpenAI has not yet clarified how it will integrate the OpenClaw tool, which enables it to 'see into the future.' In the Indian market, OpenAI has also been active; India is the second-largest user market for ChatGPT outside the United States, with over 100 million weekly active users. OpenAI has also signed contracts for enterprise-level tool usage and computing power deployment and plans to establish new offices in Mumbai and Bangalore. Regarding the potential employment impact of AI, Lightcap believes that job roles will change and calls for empathy towards rapidly evolving employment sectors.
