In the initial nine months of this year, the manufacturing output value of Shanghai's three primary industries experienced an 8.5% year-on-year rise, outpacing the total industrial output value of enterprises above a designated scale across the city by 2.8 percentage points. To break it down, the manufacturing sectors of artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, and biomedical industries recorded growth rates of 12.8%, 11.3%, and 3.6%, respectively. Concurrently, the overall manufacturing output value of strategic emerging industries within the industrial sector climbed by 7.3% year-on-year, with the new energy, new-generation information technology, and high-end equipment industries posting growth rates of 19.6%, 10.9%, and 10.3%, respectively.
