The Ministry of Emergency Management of the People's Republic of China has officially declared that the China Academy of Safety Science and Technology, working in tandem with Gaode Maps, has unveiled the 'Eagle Eye Guard' early warning system. This innovative technology represents a pivotal outcome of a national key research and development initiative. It is designed to seamlessly integrate multi-source spatiotemporal data, facilitating real-time (second-level) perception of road and bridge disaster events. The primary objective is to significantly enhance drivers' ability to swiftly evade emergency risks.

The impetus behind the development of 'Eagle Eye Guard' stems from a thorough reflection on past major road disasters, leading to the establishment of a comprehensive research framework. At its core, the system leverages driving data and employs a sophisticated spatial intelligence architecture, coupled with cloud-based AI large model analysis, to deliver precise and timely early warning information.

Real-world vehicle testing has demonstrated the system's exceptional early warning capabilities in specific scenarios. Gaode Maps has seamlessly integrated and upgraded its lane-level safety early warning feature to incorporate this advanced system, extending its coverage to 17 common driving scenarios and making it available nationwide.
