Saudi Arabia's nascent artificial intelligence firm, Humain, has officially broken ground on its inaugural batch of data centers, targeting an operational launch in early 2026. These centers will be powered by semiconductors imported from the United States. Backed by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, Humain was established during former US President Trump's visit to the kingdom in May of this year. CEO Tareq Amin announced that the parks situated in Riyadh and Dammam are anticipated to become operational in the second quarter of next year, each boasting an initial capacity of 100 megawatts. This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's intensified efforts to accelerate the importation of AI chips.
