In its earnings report issued on Tuesday, Rivian, an American electric vehicle manufacturer, revealed that due to the impact of tariffs and other regulatory shifts during the Trump administration, the company anticipates lower vehicle deliveries this year than initially forecasted. This development positions Rivian as the latest automaker to feel the ripple effects of economic policy fluctuations under the new administration. Despite producing all its vehicles within the United States, Rivian now projects delivering between 40,000 and 46,000 electric vehicles by the end of 2025. This revised estimate marks a downward adjustment from the company's previous assertion just a month ago, when it confidently predicted it could deliver between 46,000 and 51,000 vehicles this year.
