A Korean car owner, Lee Young-hoon, has impressively driven his Hyundai Ioniq 5 for an astonishing 580,000 kilometers in just two years and nine months. Notably, the battery health of his vehicle remains robust at 87.7%. Recognizing the significance of his high-mileage usage, Hyundai Motor has kindly replaced the battery and motor for Lee free of charge, with the aim of studying such extensive usage patterns. Compared to conventional fuel vehicles, the Ioniq 5 boasts substantial savings in maintenance and energy costs. It's worth mentioning that the car's slow charging function temporarily ceased to function due to the natural expiration of the on-board charger's lifespan. To date, the vehicle's total mileage has surpassed 670,000 kilometers. However, due to changes in Lee's work circumstances, the frequency of the car's use is expected to decrease.
