Reports indicate that he had secured a UK visa prior to stepping down from his position. Nonetheless, Zhang Yong retains his advisory role at Nezha Auto and is actively engaged in seeking financing opportunities. On December 6, Nezha Auto announced a strategic shift, where Zhang Yong transitioned to an advisory capacity, with the founder Fang Yunzhou concurrently assuming the role of CEO. During Zhang Yong's tenure, Nezha Auto achieved remarkable sales of over 150,000 units in 2022, earning the title of the best-selling new energy vehicle brand. However, deliveries dipped by approximately 15% to 127,500 units in 2023.
