On April 11, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers unveiled the latest figures, indicating that the automotive industry has embarked on a solid trajectory this year. Driven by the expedited implementation of various consumption-boosting policies and the enhancement of consumer market quality, the industry has seen positive momentum. In the first quarter, China's automobile production and sales amounted to 7.561 million and 7.47 million units, respectively, representing a year-on-year increase of 14.5% and 11.2%. Notably, new energy vehicles (NEVs) shone brightly, with production and sales reaching 3.182 million and 3.075 million units, respectively, up 50.4% and 47.1% year-on-year. These figures accounted for an impressive 41.2% of total new car sales. Furthermore, complete vehicle exports continued their upward trajectory, bolstering China's overseas influence, with NEV exports reaching 441,000 units, marking a 43.9% year-on-year growth.
