On May 26, Hongmeng Intelligent Travel initiated a defamation lawsuit against the self-media entity 'InsiderXm_' along with its associated matrix accounts. The company demands that these accounts immediately halt their infringing activities, mitigate any adverse effects, and compensate Hongmeng Intelligent Travel with 2 million yuan. The self-media platform stands accused of persistently disseminating false information and making insulting comments about Hongmeng Intelligent Travel across various platforms. Additionally, it is alleged to have engaged in malicious video editing and the deliberate amplification of negative topics.

Previously, on May 18, Hongmeng Intelligent Travel had already reported advancements in two rights protection cases. The appellate court upheld the second-instance ruling in the lawsuit against 'I am Dabin Classmate', resulting in a compensation award of 1.5 million yuan. Moreover, the company secured a favorable first-instance ruling in the lawsuit against 'Piaoqiwei—Mr. Songting', with a compensation award of 400,000 yuan.

In recent times, the new energy vehicle sector has witnessed a surge in malicious online smear campaigns. This trend has prompted numerous companies within the industry to resort to legal measures to safeguard their rights and reputations.
