A research report from Huatai Securities highlights that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has recently issued the 401st edition of the 'Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products.' This approval signifies a significant leap forward, following the elucidation of the pilot framework in 2023 and the selection of the inaugural nine consortia in June 2024. It marks the official shift of domestic Level 3 autonomous driving from the 'pilot application and testing evaluation' stage to the 'product access and on-road pilot operation' phase. Huatai Securities posits that the introduction of L3 access will spur a reorganization of value within the intelligent driving industry chain. By 2026, intelligent driving is expected to emerge as a pivotal direction for AI applications. The report underscores the importance of monitoring investment prospects in core domains such as intelligent vehicles, wire-controlled chassis systems, domain control chips, and LiDAR technology.
