Following the launch of Apple's inaugural foldable flagship device, the iPhone Duo, details regarding its hardware supply chain have slowly come to light. Based on the most recent updates from the display industry supply chain, Samsung Display has entered into a three-year exclusive supply pact with Apple. Under this agreement, Samsung Display will be the sole provider of foldable OLED displays for the iPhone Duo and its future iterations. Apple is shelling out around $250 for each display panel, positioning it as one of the priciest hardware elements of the gadget, trailing only behind the main chipset in terms of cost.
