Huang Tao, the Vice President of vivo Products, has announced that the launch event for the vivo X500 series and new smart terminal products will take place at 7:00 PM on September 21. During the event, two body color options for the vivo X500 Pro Max were showcased, along with an extender lens and a professional imaging grip kit. Dubbed the "first choice for photography and the only choice for video," this series represents a comprehensive upgrade from static to dynamic imaging, emphasizing the professionalism and convenience of capturing images.

The vivo X500 series makes its global debut with the Blueprint Optical Shield 900 sensor. This sensor boasts a CIPA 7.0 stabilization level for both the main camera and the periscope telephoto lens, complemented by a newly upgraded AI photography assistant. When it comes to video shooting, the series achieves a 17EV dynamic range for the first time, supporting 10bit 422 encoding and the ACES Academy Color Encoding System. Powered by a 2nm Dimensity chip, it introduces professional Log video hardware for the first time, enabling direct output of 4K 120fps 10bit log and 8K native Live footage.

In terms of specifications, the X500 standard version is equipped with a 1/1.28-inch LYTIA-828 main camera, an LYTIA-610 telephoto lens, and a 50Mp ultra-wide-angle lens. The Pro model features the LYTIA-610 telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the Pro Max model boasts a 6.83-inch BOE Q11 2K panel, a 1/1.28-inch 50Mp main camera, a 200MP HP0 telephoto lens, and a 50Mp ultra-wide-angle lens. It emphasizes "3-degree large-angle gimbal-level stabilization" and debuts the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro processor.
