INMO Secures Series C3 Funding and Embarks on IPO Preparations

INMO, established in late 2020, stands out as one of the pioneering domestic companies to achieve mass production of wireless consumer-grade AR glasses. With a focus on sleek, lightweight designs and wireless all-in-one functionality, INMO is dedicated to crafting the next-generation mobile device. Recently, the company successfully closed its Series C3 funding round, with Sichuan Zhenxing Science and Technology Innovation Fund taking the lead and several other institutions participating. The capital raised will be earmarked for the R&D of next-generation spatial intelligence hardware, the iterative enhancement of the INMO AIOS system, brand development, and channel expansion. Currently, INMO has commenced preparations for its initial public offering (IPO).

INMO adheres to a lightweight and integrated technological philosophy. In 2021, it pioneered the launch of full-color waveguide smart glasses. The AIR3, unveiled in 2024, incorporates Sony's inaugural Micro-OLED screen, while the GO series, introduced in 2023, emphasizes AI capabilities, with its translation glasses once commanding an 80% market share. The in-house developed INMO AIOS operating system constitutes INMO's core competitive edge. The system architecture is structured around three pivotal layers: the spatial layer, AI-native, and a unified underlying system, striking a balance between lightweight design and computational efficiency.

At the consumer level, INMO has transitioned to a dual-pronged strategy of "technology + demographics," introducing the X series to cater to niche market demands such as fashion, sports, and family-oriented products. For instance, the initial pre-sales of the INMO x Magic AI series, a collaboration with WHL, soared to 50,000 units. The company has also rolled out co-branded photography glasses tailored for female users and is propelling the evolution from "feature-phone-style glasses" to "next-generation spatial computing terminals."
