At the IFA 2026 event, TECNO—a brand under the Transsion umbrella—unveiled a groundbreaking concept phone boasting '0mm display bezels.' This innovative device eliminates the traditional black borders surrounding the screen. However, its metal frame is slightly wider compared to those of mainstream smartphones. The phone features a dual-layer cover glass design, where the lower layer of glass is bent to seamlessly wrap around the midframe. This design brings interactive content closer to the edges of the display, enhancing the immersive experience. Additionally, TECNO has optimized the assembly process of the screen module by installing it from the back of the device and utilizing a custom hot-melt adhesive to firmly secure the second layer of glass in place.
