Lu Weibing took to social media early in the morning to announce that Xiaomi has maintained a longstanding partnership with Changxin. Back in 2022, the two entities set up a joint laboratory, and their teams dedicated a full year to co-developing and fine-tuning LPDDR6 memory. This collaborative effort culminated in the successful implementation of LPDDR6 this year. Notably, Changxin stands as the world's pioneer in achieving mass production of LPDDR6 memory. The Xiaomi 18 Fold is set to be the trailblazer in incorporating this cutting-edge memory technology, complemented by Xiaomi's self-developed Xuanjie O3 chip. This marks a significant milestone in the synergy between domestic SoC and memory technologies. Through this initiative, Xiaomi aims to foster advancements across the entire industrial chain.
