TrendForce's latest research shows that starting from the second quarter of 2026, the supply of notebook CPUs will significantly improve, with brand procurement and production rhythms recovering, driving better-than-expected shipments in the first half of the year. It is expected that the annual decline in notebook shipments will narrow to 9.4%, with shipment structure skewing towards the first half of the year. Meanwhile, influenced by rising prices of memory and CPUs, the cost share of core components in the bill of materials (BOM) has increased to 68%.
