On September 1, a number of domestic mobile phone makers implemented a uniform price hike for their products, with the increases surpassing 200 yuan and spanning models across a diverse range of price points. As reported by the Jiangnan Metropolis Daily, Xiaomi adjusted the pricing for several of its models, including the Xiaomi 17 series, the REDMI K90 series, and the Turbo 5 Max. In the meantime, Huawei also substantially raised the prices of a selection of its mobile phone models. Notably, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro series witnessed price hikes of 1,000 yuan across different configuration versions. For instance, the 12GB+256GB variant saw its price jump from 5,999 yuan to 6,999 yuan, with corresponding increases also applied to other versions. Similarly, the 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB versions of the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max each experienced a 1,000 yuan price surge.
