A recent report from CNR's "News Traverse" on China National Radio has highlighted a concerning trend: in recent years, there have been numerous incidents involving substandard power banks catching fire or exploding. These incidents pose a severe risk to consumers' lives, property, and even aviation safety. The state has explicitly mandated that power banks lacking 3C certification are prohibited from being sold. Additionally, major airports have enforced stringent measures to prevent uncertified power banks from being taken on flights.

However, an investigative report by journalists has uncovered a disturbing reality: e-commerce platforms are still inundated with a plethora of power banks bearing fake 3C certifications. These counterfeit products not only lack flame-retardant properties in their outer casings but also house internal battery cells that are prone to short-circuiting and igniting. This poses a substantial threat to consumers' daily use and the overall safety of civil aviation.
