According to a report issued by research firm CounterPoint, during China's 2025 "Double 11" shopping extravaganza (a three-week span commencing on October 20), smartphone sales witnessed a 3% year-on-year uptick. This growth was predominantly fueled by the outstanding performance of Apple's iPhone 17 series. If we exclude Apple's sales from the equation, the market actually registered a 5% year-on-year contraction.
Specifically, Apple's sales surged by 37% on a year-on-year basis. Meanwhile, OPPO and vivo also posted positive results, with sales increasing by 12% and 8% respectively. On the flip side, Xiaomi, Huawei, and Honor encountered sales declines, with drops of 11%, 22%, and 14% respectively.
