On November 28, news emerged that the Shenzhen Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau, along with the Shenzhen Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, has recently, with the municipal government's endorsement, jointly unveiled the Action Plan for Accelerating the Promotion and Industrial Development of Full-House Smart Applications in Shenzhen (2026 - 2028).

This plan delineates that by the conclusion of 2026, the core competitiveness of the full-house smart industry will witness a substantial boost, and an initial industrial ecosystem will take shape. Foundational support systems, encompassing operating systems and chips, will undergo further refinement. Full-house smart technology will be extensively implemented in the construction of new edifices and the retrofitting of existing structures. Moreover, effective application scenarios will be nurtured in smart city construction domains such as public services and urban governance.

By the end of 2028, the full-house smart industry is projected to attain remarkable development milestones, featuring a well-established industrial ecosystem. The industrial ecosystem and innovation chain will become more consolidated, while foundational support systems, including operating systems and chips, will grow more resilient. Application scenarios within smart city construction will witness further expansion, culminating in a more all-encompassing full-house smart construction pathway and service model. This will position Shenzhen as a preeminent full-house smart pioneer city, both domestically and on the international stage.
