According to Omdia's most recent research, during the third quarter of 2025, smartphone shipments in Africa experienced a remarkable 24% year-on-year increase, totaling 22.8 million units. This growth puts an end to a five-quarter period of sluggish performance, ushering in double-digit expansion.
