During the first six months of this year, China's newly grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) capacity surged to 21.2 gigawatts (GW), pushing the cumulative installed capacity to 110 GW, a significant 54.1% increase compared to the same period last year. Specifically, centralized PV systems accounted for 60.6 GW, while distributed PV systems accounted for 49.3 GW. Remarkably, China's cumulative PV power generation reached 559.1 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh), reflecting a robust 42.9% year-on-year growth, with an impressive average utilization rate of up to 94%.
